Following SNK’s dominance in communication, EVO 2024 now shines the spotlight on Warner Bros. with two new characters coming to MultiVersus. Player First Games makes a significant leap in tone with Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice sharing the stage for Season 2.
This comes as no surprise since both characters had been datamined long ago. EVO 2024, however, gives us a chance to (re)discover Samurai Jack, a beloved classic by Genndy Tartakovsky on Cartoon Network. Our honorable Japanese warrior excels with his sword skills and can literally ignite to boost his stats. The trailer also teases powerful kicks, grapples, energy blades, and a “Robinson Crusoe” costume likely referencing an episode I haven’t seen.
Thunderous Michael As for Beetlejuice, who will arrive later, Player First Games hasn’t shared any gameplay yet. The Season 2 illustration also features Wakko Warner from the Animaniacs. This new season will also introduce Ranked Online Mode, aiming to officially determine the undisputed king of the 2v2 crossover in Smash Bros. style. MultiVersus will receive new PvE tracks and a fresh battle pass, with its contents yet to be detailed. Additionally, players will be able to battle friends on the iconic Warner Bros. water tower.
Samurai Jack and Season 2 will arrive in MultiVersus on July 23rd. Player First Games promises to deliver more information about Samurai Jack on Monday
