The Case of the Golden Idol, set in the 18th century, currently boasts two DLCs: “The Spider of Lanka” and “The Lemurian Vampire.” A sequel, titled The Rise of the Golden Idol, has been announced, with a demo already available on Steam. This upcoming installment will take place in the 1970s “an era of psychedelics, faxes, parapsychology, and TV magazines,” and will feature 15 new investigations.
The Case of the Golden Idol is already available on PC, Xbox One/Series, and Nintendo Switch, and will arrive on PS4/PS5 on July 23, 2024.
